Fabric preparation was key for this design to work for production, keeping the darker gradient  at top of the shirt and the lighter pink at the bottom across all size. To minimise on fabric waste and consumption.

From working with our garment Technician and Fabric mill  I was able to work out fabric consumption for each size ranging from extra small to extra large

making it possible to plan the placement of the fabric that would be wasted to be used on other areas of the shirt

other consideration for this style was was stitching thread colour, button hole and thread attaching buttons.

This could be because of  Fabric quality, Pattern block, Trims,  Prints method quality and Minimum quantity order.
